Francisco De Jesùs.Samsung Electronics Co, the World's top Maker of smartphones, launched Thursday the World's first smartphone that runs on a Broadband long-Term evolution advanced network, starting another round of competition among local Mobile carriers over speed. The device, the Galaxy S5 Broadband LTE -A, will first be launched through SK Telecom Co., South Korea's top mobile carrier, and gradually add other players, namely KT Corp. and LG UPlus.
The broadband LTE-A is 3 time faster than the current LTE Network and allow users to download a 10 megabyte video in 0.4 seconds.
Like the original Galaxy S5, the device is equipped with a 5.1 inch display, a 16 megapixel camera and a 2800 mAh battery.
It also keeps Key Features, Such as a Fingerprint Scanner and heartbeat sensors. The Updated Model has a Wide Quad HD Super AMOLED display, Compared with the Original device's Full HD Super AMOLED.
